About London Lionhearts

The London Lionhearts Volleyball Club is a non profit sports club started in 1998 by Alvin Spencer. The legend has it that he wanted to have a club of his own. The name was inspired by Ben Hill as a progression from a training academy called The London Lion Cubs. The Lionhearts is one of the few multi-sports clubs in England with volleyball, football and netball teams already well involved in different London leagues.

London Lionhearts Volleyball is a fun but competitive club. Many of the club's players are foreigners and the club is like a second family for all of us. We enjoy good training sessions and high intensity in our games, but we also like to organise parties and have some fun.

Thank you to the people behind the club for their effort and time.
