About London Lionhearts

The London Lionhearts is a non profit sports club started in 1998, by Alvin Spencer. The legend has it that he wanted to have a club of his own Laughing. The name was inspired by Ben Hill as a progression from a training academy called The London Lion Cubs. The Lionhearts is one of the few multi-sports clubs in England with volleyball, football and netball teams already well involved in different London leagues.

London Lionhearts is a fun but competitive club. Many of the club's players are foreigners and the club is like a second family for all of us. We enjoy good training sessions and high intensity in our games, but we also like to organise parties and have some fun.
