Richie Rich

Richard was born in Barbados, where he started his footballing career playing for Trents United. He moved to England where he visited a number of teams before joining the Lionhearts in 1999. In that inception year Richard guided the Lions to 3rd place in the league, and won both the invitation cup, and the six a side trophy. He received sportsman of the year award, he then relinquished the captaincy and the Lions and moved to South East United, transfering again to CLCC United. After 3 years away, Richard returned to the Lions where he has played an integral part in their fortunes, seeing them promoted to the Premiership, winning the invitation cup numerous times,   and reaching the quarter finals of the London Cup.

Richard is one of the powerhouse engines that drives the Lionhearts midfield, he is a versatile player, with good vision, passing ability, a great free kick, and a competent penalty taker.
