Peter Ansell

Peter Ansell has been playing for the Lionhearts since 2002, he is in his 3rd season as captain. A strong midfield player, Peter leads the team by example, his work rate is amazing, with consistent and well timed tackles. Peter forms one of the two powerhouse engines for the Lions, inspiring the team, and contributing with goals from long range shots.

Peter has led the Lionhearts from Division 2, to the Premiership in three short seasons, winning the invitation cup, and reaching the quarter finals of the London cup along the way.
